Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Engineer to join our team. 


• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing spare parts inventory, developing and implementing spare parts strategies, and providing technical support to maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts inventory, including procurement, storage, and issuance.


• Develop and implement spare parts strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize downtime.


• Provide technical support to maintenance teams, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment.


• Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and recommend spare parts inventory adjustments.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and procurement.


• Develop and maintain spare parts catalogs and databases.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


• Minimum 10 years of experience in spare parts management, maintenance, or related fields.


• Proven experience in managing spare parts inventory and developing spare parts strategies.


• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Willingness to relocate to Lagos.
