Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee bar operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain the bar menu, keeping it innovative and in line with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
- Manage and train bar staff, promoting a collaborative and high-energy team environment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the bar area.
- Accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, reconciling transactions and managing daily cash flow.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proven experience with a minimum of 4 years as a Bar Manager or similar role, with strong knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
- Certification in bartending or hospitality management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and bar stock control.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- In-depth knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails.
- Proficiency in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Excellent customer service and team management skills.
