Job Description

• As a Massage therapist,you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage services to clients, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.


• This role requires expertise in various massage techniques, a commitment to client satisfaction, and adherence to health and hygiene standards.


• You would also have some experience in handling facials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, aromatherapy, and others as required.


• Assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate treatments.


• Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients.


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and equipment.


• Keep accurate client records, including treatment history and preferences.


• Promote additional spa services and products to clients.


• Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry trends.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Certification or Diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.


• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a masseuse in a spa, wellness centre, or similar setting.


• Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques.


• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to build rapport with clients and provide personalized service.


• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.


• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.


• Knowledge of complementary therapies such as hot stone massage, prenatal massage, or cupping therapy is a plus.


• Sales or customer service experience is an advantage.
