We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in a leading food industry organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production facility in Sagamu, Ogun State, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality product standards, and meeting company goals.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all operational activities, including production, quality control, inventory management, and distribution.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Monitor and analyze production performance and address operational challenges.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all operations.
Supervise and lead a team of employees, ensuring effective communication and team performance.
Collaborate with other departments to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Track and report on operational KPIs and suggest areas for improvement.
Budget management and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of company resources.
Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the food industry, in a reputable organization, with a proven track record in a similar role.
Education: A Graduate degree in Engineering (preferred). Additional qualifications or certifications in operations management or food industry standards would be an advantage.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
In-depth knowledge of food production processes and industry-specific best practices.
