  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in a leading food industry organization. 

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production facility in Sagamu, Ogun State, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality product standards, and meeting company goals.



Responsibilities




  • Manage and oversee all operational activities, including production, quality control, inventory management, and distribution.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

  • Monitor and analyze production performance and address operational challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all operations.

  • Supervise and lead a team of employees, ensuring effective communication and team performance.

  • Collaborate with other departments to meet production schedules and quality standards.

  • Track and report on operational KPIs and suggest areas for improvement.

  • Budget management and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of company resources.



Qualifications




  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the food industry, in a reputable organization, with a proven track record in a similar role.

  • Education: A Graduate degree in Engineering (preferred). Additional qualifications or certifications in operations management or food industry standards would be an advantage.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of food production processes and industry-specific best practices.
