We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, monitoring, and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance, detect faults, and escalate issues as needed.
Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
System & Performance Analysis: Analyze network traffic, optimize bandwidth usage, and generate reports on network health.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement proactive measures to prevent network failures and improve system reliability.
Collaboration & Escalation: Work closely with field engineers, vendors, and support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of network incidents, changes, and resolutions.
Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to network security policies and industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Certifications in networking (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are a plus.
Proven experience in NOC operations, network monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and fiber optic networks.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios, SolarWinds).
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment and handle critical network issues under pressure.
