Job Summary
Responsible for purchases (local & foreign), deal with Vendor negotiations and analyze trends in Vendor pricing and procurement activities to determine re-order level, supply lag and ensure value for money.

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and service reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues or non-compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and align them with business objectives.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products or services.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement best practices and market dynamics.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
