Brief Description
Ensuring reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment in the plant. Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as implementing improvements and upgrades to electrical systems.
Duties
- Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and failures and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure electrical systems support manufacturing operations and meet quality standards.
- Design and implement electrical system upgrades and improvements.
- Manage electrical maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to technicians.
- Assist other team members in the plant to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act or condition in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies
Competencies
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical safety.
- Good understanding of electrical schematics, engineering drawings and principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve electrical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
