As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and infrastructure projects.
You will work closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to create functional, sustainable, and aesthetically appealing designs while ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning: Develop architectural concepts, sketches, and detailed designs based on client requirements and project specifications.
Project Management: Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring designs align with budget, timeline, and safety standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, and environmental aspects into designs.
Technical Documentation: Prepare and review architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable practices into architectural designs.
Client Engagement: Meet with clients to discuss project goals, design preferences, and functional requirements.
Site Visits & Inspections: Conduct on-site assessments to monitor construction progress and address any architectural issues.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
5 - 10 years of experience.
Professional accreditation or licensure (if required in your region).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
Excellent understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building regulations.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Creativity with a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and functionality.
