  • We are seeking a Fleet Manager with a strong background in automobiles to oversee the efficiency, maintenance, and cost-effective operation of our vehicle fleet. 

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in automobile engineering and fleet management, ensuring optimal performance while reducing maintenance costs through proactive oversight.



Responsibilities

Fleet & Cost Optimization:




  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for fleet maintenance and fuel efficiency.

  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in-house where feasible to reduce reliance on external servicing.

  • Track vehicle fuel consumption, repair costs, and operational efficiency.



Automobile Maintenance & Technical Oversight:




  • Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely servicing to minimize breakdowns and costs.

  • Conduct technical assessments of vehicles before repairs to prevent unnecessary damages and cost.

  • Work closely with mechanics and vendors to negotiate cost-effective maintenance solutions.



Fleet Operations & Compliance:




  • Oversee vehicle procurement, utilization, and disposal strategies to maximize return on investment.

  • Manage driver assignments, route planning, and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Maintain fleet documentation, including insurance, registrations, and maintenance logs.



Requirements




  • B.Sc. or HND in Automobile Engineering, Fleet Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet management, with expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair.

  • Strong understanding of automobile maintenance.

  • Proficiency in fleet tracking systems, fuel management, and logistics software.

  • Valid Driver’s License and experience in overseeing driver operations.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cost-management skills.
