Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To supervise all operations in the Bottling and Margarine plant.
THE JOB
- Ensure that all products produced are of high quality and standards.
- Prepare and submit daily reports of production to the Process Manager daily, weekly, and monthly, etc.
- Ensure that the processed parameters and specifications are adhered to by all Operators.
- Prevent and control hazards and accidents by ensuring machines are kept in good condition.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene standards by all Operators, Packers, and Cleaners.
- Report problems with regard to the food safety management system to the food safety team/leader or any other person specified via appropriate identification within the factory.
- Proper planning of Production to reduce frequent line changeovers and downtimes.
THE PERSON MUST
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess remarkable problem-solving skills.
- Have strong interpersonal and team working skills.
- Be able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
- OND in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
