Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions in a construction firm. Your responsibilities will include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. Additionally, you will be involve with providing accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows for various projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Requirements and skills
- BSc in Accounting or Finance plus a professional Certification of additional advantage
- At least 3 years working experience as an Accountant in a Construction Company
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
