Job Summary:
The Account Officer is responsible for handling the financial records of the organization. Account Officer will oversee accounts, manage invoices, and ensure smooth transactions with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining financial records.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Checking invoices.
- Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
- Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
- Handling queries related to accounts.
- Utilize database software to organize financial account information
- Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources
- Make regular contact with clients to ensure payment
- Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time
- Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary
- Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
- Generate financial reports for review regulatory authorities
Qualification and skills
- Min of 2-5 years experience in finance Bsc/HND in Accounting from a recognized institution
- Proximity to Trans-Amadi/Odili Axis, Garrison & Abuloma will be preferred
- Proficiency in using an accounting software
