Job Summary
- We are looking for an operational facility coordinator to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of office and site facilities.
- This role ensures that buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are properly maintained and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Facilities Maintenance & Operations:
- Ensures full operational functionality of the facility
- Ensure that workshops, fabrication yards, and galvanizing plants are operating efficiently.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure.
- Optimize facility layout and processes to enhance productivity and reduce bottlenecks.
- Manage facility utilities and assets, including but not limited to power, electrical and electronic systems, mechanical and HVAC, water and waste management, janitorial services, heavy-duty equipment, vehicle fleet maintenance, and ensure sustainability.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance:
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies in all facility-based EPC activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international engineering, environmental, and safety regulations.

EPC Project Planning & Execution:
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or inefficiencies.
- Oversee and coordinate all welding, fabrication, galvanizing, and other EPC-related activities within the facility.
Vendor & Contractor Management:
- Manage third-party contractors handling fabrication, galvanizing, and facility improvement projects.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to standards.
Space Planning & Asset Management:
- Oversee workspace allocation, office moves, and renovations.
- Maintain an inventory of furniture, equipment, and facility assets.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage budgets for facility-based EPC projects and maintenance activities.
- Track and control costs, identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting:
- Work closely with senior management, operations, and engineering teams to align facility projects with business goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years cognate experience not less than 4 years in Senior management position in related industrial sectors (especially mechanical and fabrication projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP, COREN, NSE, or any other relevant professional qualification.
