Job Summary:



We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with current clients, and ensuring the company achieves its sales targets. You will play a vital role in growing our client base and driving revenue.



Key Responsibilities:



Sales Development:




  • Identify and prospect new clients and sales opportunities.

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and market trends.



Client Relationship Management:




  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

  • Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.



Product Knowledge:




  • Stay up-to-date with product features, benefits, and market trends.

  • Provide presentations, demonstrations, and detailed explanations of products/services to customers.



Sales Negotiation and Closing:




  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.

  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and agreements.

  • Successfully close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.



Reporting and Administration:




  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline reports.

  • Provide regular updates to the sales manager regarding sales performance.

  • Prepare reports on sales achievements and potential opportunities.



Collaboration:




  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in efforts and effective communication.

  • Attend sales meetings, conferences, and training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.



Key Skills & Qualifications:




  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.

  • Goal-oriented with a strong desire to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Plastic Markets within Onitsha and environs is a MUST

  • Must be ready to meet assigned targets and  can also speak the local dialects
