Job Summary
- The Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the assigned plantation division, ensuring optimal productivity, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plantation operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and resource optimization.
- Implement best agricultural practices in planting, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control.
- Develop and execute production plans to achieve business goals.
- Manage the production cycle from planting to harvesting for maximum yield and quality.
- Ensure adherence to quality control, food safety, and sustainability standards.
- Lead and develop farm teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, preventing accidents and environmental harm.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Agricultural Economics, or related field
- Professional certification in Certified Agricultural Technician (CAT), Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and Certified Professional Agronomy (CPAg) etc.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in oil palm plantation management.
- Management Experience: At least 3 years in a management role in a farm or plantation setting.
