Job Summary

• We seek a passionate and creative Art Teacher to design and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that nurture pupils' artistic abilities, foster creative expression, and cultivate an art appreciation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive art curriculum tailored to pupils’ developmental stages, needs, and interests while establishing clear learning objectives.


• Implement diverse instructional strategies, demonstrating various artistic techniques and media to support pupils in creating artworks that reflect their skills and creativity.


• Educate pupils on the cultural and historical significance of art, broadening their understanding and appreciation of different art forms.


• Encourage self-expression while maintaining a structured and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.


• Assess pupils’ artistic development, provide constructive feedback, and prepare detailed progress reports for relevant stakeholders.


• Maintain a well-organized and stimulating learning environment that supports artistic exploration and accommodates diverse learning needs.


• Teach pupils the proper use, care, and management of art materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining classroom inventory.


• Plan and coordinate art displays and exhibitions within the school, contributing to a visually enriching learning environment.


• Support school events and programs by developing creative ideas, visual elements, and jingles to enhance presentations and activities.


• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the school's art curriculum and overall educational objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art or a related field.


• At least 5 years of teaching experience in a reputable school. Equivalent significant industry experience will be an advantage.


• Strong foundation in classroom management and age-appropriate teaching techniques.
