Our client, a 360-degree Marketing Consult, Support, Strategy development and Business solutions company, is seeking to hire a passionate and creative Cinematography Trainee to join its team. 

This role is perfect for individuals who have a keen interest in filmmaking, videography, and storytelling and are looking to develop hands-on experience in a professional setting. 

The ideal role holder will work closely with the creative team to capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content while learning the fundamentals of cinematography and video production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in writing or adapting scripts for video projects


• Helping to create visually compelling video content for clients and internal projects 


• Capturing studio-quality photographs and videos both in-house and on-location


• Collaborating with the creative team to develop a visual style and storytelling approach 


• Organising and assembling video segments to ensure smooth storytelling 


• Learning and managing technical aspects of video recording and editing 


• Performing basic video and audio editing to maintain logical sequencing and continuity 


• Supporting event coverage and documentation as needed


• Working within a creative brief, developing and pitching ideas to meet client needs


• Assisting in developing an overall video branding strategy for various projects 


• Gaining hands-on experience with professional video equipment and editing software

Person Specification:

• A bachelor’s degree or HND in in Creative Arts, Cinematography, Film Production, or a related field from a recognised institution (Minimum Second Class Lower, 2:1) 


• 0-1 year of experience in videography, filmmaking, or content creation (internship 


• experience is a plus)


• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, 


• and Photoshop


• A portfolio showcasing video editing or cinematography projects would be preferred


• Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound recording is an advantage


• A strong passion for storytelling and visual creativity


• Strong attention to detail, composition, and visual storytelling


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback. 


• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
