Prepares Shutdown maintenance schedules, monitors completion of the work carried out and forecasts activities during shutdowns.
Defines with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering departments any shutdown work scope. Ensures that all preventive and maintenance, inspection, recertification, repair, overhaul and modifications’ requirements are included in such scope of work repaires detailed work packages for jobs to be carried out during shutdowns.
Defines maintenance activities, defining manpower and logistic requirements.
Ensures co-ordination between various divisions, sections and disciplines during overhaul execution, to ensure that all act in harmony for smooth execution of shutdown.
Prepares comprehensive shutdown report for evaluation and future reference.
Checks spare parts and materials availability. Issues materials reservations from stock, and prepares purchase requests as requested.
Follows up with Shutdown Materials Coordinator, warehouse and purchasing sections on materials status and delivery in support of Operations.
During turnaround/shutdown executions, this position coordinates the scheduling and progress report to all levels of the organization Integrate post turnaround/shutdown planning report ensuring all executed work orders are properly documented and finalized in the CMMS

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in shutdown planning within the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong focus on large-scale, complex shutdowns (turnarounds).
In-depth knowledge of shutdown methodologies, maintenance procedures, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in planning and scheduling software Primavera P6
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to changing conditions.
Previous experience working in Nigeria or similar regions is highly preferred.
