Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all mechanical equipment across all our farm locations / Projects.

The Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Maintenance and repairs of all poultry equipment including, but not limited to Manure scrapers , Feed Mill Equipment , Poultry cages ,feeder systems & manure processing equipment .


• Maintenance of all other mechanical farm implements (brush cutters /mower)


• Recommendation and sourcing of quality farm equipment and required 


• Ensuring adherence to regulations and quality standards by ensuring that all functioning equipment operates withing safety standards.


• Provide technical support to all our farm managers, and feed mill operators, by understanding their needs and proffering a solution.


• Provide report and proper documentation on all farm equipment and technical activities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all mechanical equipment across all our farm locations / Projects .

• Maintain repair or maintenance records.    


• Maintenance of all poultry equipment 


•  Maintenance of all farm implements (brush cutters /mower, sprayers, etc).        


• Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning.


• Supervise Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of farm machinery , fogging systems.


• Supervise Service of generators , vehicles ,UTVs & bikes to maintain functionality.


• Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear.


• Confer with Farm Managers to assess problems.


• Oversee Testing and repairs of electrical components and wiring


• Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.


• Oversee Installation and repairs of agricultural irrigation, plumbing, and sprinkler systems.

Preference will be given to candidates who can :

• Very good welding & fabrication skills


• Experience in mechanical assembly.


• Strong understanding of electrical controls.


• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Qualification, Skills & Experience

• OND / HND / BSc. in Agric Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.


• A minimum of 3 years working experience.


• The candidate must be a quick learner, have a strong sense of ownership, and display a high level of customer-focused orientation, and be able to take responsibility for actions taken.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Annual Salary:      N200,000 – N300,000 + Performance Incentives
