Job Summary




  • We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Post-NYSC Medical Officer with surgical experience to join our healthcare team. 

  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in minor surgical procedures and be eager to expand their skills under the supervision of senior medical professionals.



Key Responsibilities




  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

  • Perform minor surgical procedures, including wound suturing, incision and drainage, excisions, and other relevant surgical interventions.

  • Assist senior surgeons in major surgical operations and emergency procedures.

  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations and care.

  • Diagnose and manage common medical and surgical conditions.

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide resuscitative measures when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of patient history, diagnosis, and treatment.

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Stay updated on current medical and surgical practices through continuous professional development.



Requirements




  • Medical Degree from a recognized institution.

  • Must have completed NYSC.

  • Valid practicing license.

  • 2 - 3 years proven experience in performing minor surgical procedures.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to patient care and ethical medical practice.



Remuneration




  • Salary: N350,000 Monthly.

  • There will be commissions for surgeries performed or assisted.
