Qulaifications




  • Candidates should possess an HND, B.Sc or B.Tech with 3 - 10 years work experience.

  • An Adult male not older than 35 years.



Requirements / Skills:




  • TCP/IP Fundamentals: Understanding IPv4, IPv6, subnetting, and routing.

  • Wireless Networking: Experience with 802.11 standards, point-to-point (PTP), and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) networks.

  • Fiber Optics & Cable Management: Fiber splicing, FTTH (Fiber to the Home), GPON, and structured cabling.

  • MikroTik, Cisco, & Juniper: Configuring routers and switches.

  • Network Monitoring Tools: Using Nagios, PRTG, or the Dude.

  • VoIP & Telephony: Setting up and troubleshooting SIP, PBX systems, and VoIP configurations.

  • Diagnosing Network Issues: Using traceroute, ping, and other diagnostics tools.

  • Hardware Installation & Configuration: Setting up antennas, access points, routers, and switches.

  • Service Deployment: Installing and configuring broadband, fiber, and wireless connections for customers.

  • Remote Support Tools: Using SSH, TeamViewer, RDP, and other remote troubleshooting methods.



Soft Skills:




  • Problem-Solving: Quickly identifying and resolving network and customer issues.

  • Communication Skills: Explaining technical issues to non-technical customers.

  • Time Management: Handling multiple service requests efficiently.

  • Teamwork: Coordinating with the NOC team, field engineers, and management.

  • Customer Service: Ensuring a positive experience for clients during installation and troubleshooting.

  • Adaptability: Learning new network technologies and adapting to different environments.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring proper network configurations and minimizing errors.

  • Physical Endurance & Safety Awareness: Working on-site, handling network hardware, and following safety protocols.

  • Crisis Management: Handling high-pressure situations like network outages professionally.

  • Technical Documentation: Writing installation guides, troubleshooting reports, and SOPs.
