They are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join the team and assist in achieving excellence in people management and organizational development efforts.
Responsibilities
Lead the recruitment process, including developing job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews to attract top talent.
Foster supportive work culture by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting positive communication between team members and management.
Identify staff training needs, design and implement professional development programs, and monitor progress to ensure continuous growth and high performance among employees.
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with labor laws and create a structured work environment.
Oversee performance appraisal processes by providing tools and guidance for managers, enabling consistent and constructive feedback is given to team members.
Manage payroll processes and employee benefits, providing accuracy and timely delivery while working closely with management to review and update compensation structures.
Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business goals, including staffing plans, succession planning, and organizational structure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven HR management experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant sector.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in using HR software and systems to streamline processes and data management.
Proactive and problem-solving mindset with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
