About the Role



SunFi is hiring a Solar Outlet Sales Representative for our shop inside Jakande Art Market, Lagos. This is a contract role. The ideal candidate will:




  • Sell SunFi solar systems to walk-in customers.

  • Roam the market and surrounding areas to acquire new customers.

  • Manage shop operations, and inventory, and build relationships with market stakeholders and customers.

  • Work 6 days per week on Monday - Saturday between the hours of 9 am- 5 pm



Job Responsibilities



Sales and Customer Engagement:




  • Sell SunFi solar systems to walk-in customers at the solar shop.

  • Roam the Jakande Art Market and neighboring communities to identify and onboard new customers.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shop owners and other potential clients in and around the market.



Shop Operations and Inventory Management:




  • Oversee the daily operations of the SunFi solar shop, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming space for customers.

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment of products.

  • Community Networking and Marketing:

  • Actively engage with shop owners and individuals within the Jakande Art Market to promote SunFi’s solar systems.

  • Build a strong network of potential leads within the market and surrounding communities.



Reporting and Accountability:




  • Track daily sales and prepare concise reports on performance and customer feedback.

  • Provide insights into customer needs and market trends to enhance sales strategies.



Requirements



Education:




  • Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.



Experience:




  • Proven experience in sales or marketing (experience in solar products is an advantage).



Skills:




  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and market stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive sales approach.

  • Basic organizational and inventory management skills.
