We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to expand our market presence and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop strategies to increase revenue. A background in fashion, textiles, or a related industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
Generate leads and secure B2B partnerships, retail expansions, and distribution deals.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients for long-term growth.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share.
Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and build networks.
Prepare proposals, negotiate deals, and close business agreements.
Collaborate with sales and product teams to align business development efforts.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the fashion, textile, or retail sector.
Strong understanding of fashion market trends and customer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and drive business goals.
OND/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM knowledge is a plus.
