Key Responsibilities

• Operating Excavators: Manipulating hydraulic and manual controls to excavate, dig trenches, level ground, and move materials.


• Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Performing pre-start checks, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.


• Safety Compliance: Adhering to workplace safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment, and identifying and mitigating potential hazards.


• Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials onto trucks, moving excavated materials, and ensuring proper disposal.


• Following Instructions: Understanding and interpreting site plans, blueprints, and verbal instructions from supervisors and other construction professionals.


• Communication and Coordination: Communicating with coworkers to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.


• Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, removing debris, and ensuring proper housekeeping.
