Job Summary
As the industrial electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a construction site environment. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical components and equipment operate safely and efficiently while complying with industry regulations and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.
- Connect electrical components to machinery, lighting, and power distribution systems.
- Ensure proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in motors, generators, relays, switches, and other industrial equipment.
- Identify defective components and replace wiring, fuses, or circuit breakers as needed.
- Ensure all electrical work follows national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician in construction or heavy industry.
Salary
- NGN100,000 – NGN120,000 gross Plus Overtime
