Responsibilities




  • Identify and assess potential new business opportunities, including new markets, products, and services.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Develop and implement business development plans and strategies to achieve company goals

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Negotiate and secure new contracts and partnerships.

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction

  • Develop and implement long-term business development plans to drive sustainable growth.

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for management.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and seamless project delivery.

  • Achieve sales and revenue targets.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and secure new accounts.



Minimum Requirements




  • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Business Admin, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 5years cognate experience in a similar position in the oil and gas sector with records of accomplishment.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Good working knowledge of the Nigerian Oil Industry (Upstream sector).

  • An understanding of oilfield processes is required.

  • Proven client account management experience in the Upstream sector of Nigeria's Oil and Gas industry.



Competencies:




  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal, and written communication and presentation skills

  • Good knowledge of upcoming and ongoing key projects in the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Sector.

  • Proven sales contacts in the Upstream sector of Nigeria's oil and gas industry

  • Proven track record of winning businesses and meeting targets.

  • Capability to identify needs and develop real-world solutions.

  • Business intelligence gathering skills.

  • Self-motivated with a strategic mindset.

  • Proven experience working with minimum supervision.

  • Charismatic, social, responsible, and passionate about the job.
