Job Summary
- We are looking for an intercontinental Chef to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Studying recipes,
- Setting up menus and preparing high-quality national & continental dishes.
- Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner.
- You should be familiar with sanitation regulations.
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients Needed.
- Inform wait staff about daily specials Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Supervise Cooks and assist as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Ensure the environment is always neat.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an FLSC / OND / HND / B.Sc qualification
- Minimum of Three (3) years of chef experience in a well-established restaurant or hotel.
- Successful completion of corporate training in Food, Confectionery, or Hospitality program. Or any other well-disciplined & prestigious training academy will be an added advantage.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Proven work experience as a Chef
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment, grillers and pasta makers
- Leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Excellent time management abilities
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
Salary
- N60,000 - N70,000 monthly.
