Job Summary:
The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and leveraging their technical knowledge to provide tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background combined with a passion for business strategy and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within technical and engineering sectors.
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop and present tailored solutions for clients.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and align solutions with customer needs.
- Analyze industry trends, technological advancements, and market demands to identify business potential.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical presentations, proposals, and business cases to customers and partners.
- Engage in technical discussions with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to demonstrate product value.
- Support contract negotiations by providing technical insights and aligning engineering specifications with commercial terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements based on client feedback.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
- Experience in business development, technical sales, or engineering consulting within a relevant industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.
- Ability to bridge the gap between engineering and business, translating technical requirements into commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.
- Experience in preparing and delivering technical proposals and presentations.
- Experience in Research and Development.
- Proficiency in CAD software, engineering simulation tools, and CRM systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
