The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company.
This role requires a self-driven individual with a strong understanding of the ICT industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts
Identify and qualify business leads through various channels (networking, cold calling, industry events, etc.)
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
Understand client needs and work with internal teams to deliver tailored ICT solutions
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes
Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets
Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance against targets
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the ICT industry
Strong knowledge of ICT products and services, including software, hardware, networking, and digital solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Self-motivated with a drive for achieving and exceeding targets
Knowledge of the Lagos business landscape and market trends is an added advantage.
