Policy Development: Collaborate with the product development team to design and develop new microinsurance products and features.
Premium Rating: Determine premium rates for microinsurance products, based on risk assessment and actuarial analysis.
Claims Review: Review and assess claims, ensuring that they are valid and meet policy terms and conditions.
Data Analysis: Analyze data and statistics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in underwriting and risk management.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that underwriting practices and procedures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Training and Development: Provide training and support to underwriting staff, agents, and brokers on microinsurance products and underwriting guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance, or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., ACIIN)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
