The Planning and Performance Management Engineer is responsible for supporting the strategic planning and performance management activities within the asset.
This role involves developing, analyzing, and optimizing production plans, operational performance metrics, and forecasts to ensure that the company meets its strategic objectives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
Master's or higher degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of #5- #8 years of experience in planning, performance management, or related in an upstream oil & gas company.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of planning and performance principles, financial analysis, and strategic planning processes.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information accordingly.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau,) and planning software (e.g., Oracle).
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.
Proficiency in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
