The Petrophysicist provides top-quality petrophysical interpretation skills for formation evaluation in good operations and field evaluation through successful field development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Geology / Geophysics or Petroleum Geosciences.
Minimum of #7 years experience in petrophysical modeling and well data interpretation in an active E&P service or operating company.
Experience in data integration across the Geological, Engineering, and Geophysical Environment.
Completed first and second levels technical training, introduction to management/interdisciplinary skills.
Knowledge of different petrophysics and formation evaluation software.
Workstation-based petrophysical interpretation on both wells and fields basis.
Well-rounded geoscientist experienced in all aspects of play-based evaluation concepts and methods.
Ability to rapidly analyze and identify critical success factors and risk elements, then focus on these to efficiently develop the opportunity.
Well correlation analyses and sequence stratigraphy knowledge.
Strong inter-personal skills coaching, mentorship, team play
Self-starter with a lot of energy/initiative. Accurate and reliable worker with a high degree of achievement drive, and good presentation and communication skills.
