We are seeking an experienced and innovative Assistant Manager, Research and Development to support the development and execution of our R&D strategy.
The successful candidate will assist in leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new products, processes, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
R&D Project Management: Assist in managing R&D projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies, trends, and opportunities to drive business growth.
Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new products and processes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor R&D team members to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Innovation and IP Management: Identify and protect intellectual property (IP) opportunities, and develop strategies to drive innovation.
Collaboration and Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, academia, and industry experts to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
Budget Management: Assist in managing R&D budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and ROI.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Food, or chemicals.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of R&D experience in a food or chemical industry,
Skills:
Strong technical expertise in a relevant field.
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications:
Professional certifications, such as PMP or Six Sigma, preferred.
