Description 

• Krystal Medical Centre is looking for a compassionate and experienced Midwife to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality maternal care, support expectant mothers, and ensure safe deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide antenatal, antepartum, and postnatal care.


• Assist with labor, delivery, and newborn care.


• Monitor maternal and fetal health during pregnancy and childbirth.


• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy.


• Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.


• Educate and support mothers on breastfeeding and postnatal care.


• Maintain accurate medical records and follow safety protocols.


• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures and treatments, and advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.


• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Registered Midwife (RM) with a valid practicing license.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternal and newborn care.


• Strong clinical and emergency response skills.


• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.


• Must reside within Ketu, Ikosi, Shangisha, Berger, Ikeja and its environs.
