Description




  • The Accountant for Pullus Africa is responsible for the company's day-to-day accounting operations and reporting for the company.



Key Responsibilities




  • Daily weekly revenue and monthly revenue assurance

  • Processing of customers invoice and tracking of sales

  • Vetting and processing vendor’s invoices for payment in line with the company’s accounting and finance procedures.

  • Accounts Payables and Receivables management

  • Petty cash administration and management

  • Recognition of transactions in line with IFRS in the ERP system or Accounting software

  • Bank reconciliation statement

  • Monthly management account preparation, month and year-end closure

  • Supports budget preparation

  • Supports the finance department to achieve the company’s growth plan

  • Preparing and Filing of tax returns

  • E-filing of all source documents

  • Works with the external Auditor during the FY end audit.

  • Any other duties that the CFO may assign



Requirements




  • Understanding of how to use common industry software e.g. Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Odoo ERP, etc.

  • Minimum of HND / BSc in Accounting with ACA certificate or at the professional stage.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years.

  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Communication skills

  • Flexibility and open-mindedness

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Lives in Kaduna or willing to relocate
