- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our sales team in a leading mechanical and electrical engineering company.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our engineering products and services, maintaining customer relationships, and driving business growth within the mechanical and electrical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities in the mechanical and electrical engineering sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Promote the company’s products and services, including technical specifications, features, and benefits.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues related to sales.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Follow up on sales leads and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor products, and customer requirements.
- Provide regular feedback to the sales manager regarding market conditions, sales opportunities, and customer needs.
- Monitor customer feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
Sales Reporting:
- Prepare sales forecasts and progress reports for management review.
- Track and report on sales performance, targets, and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.
Technical Expertise:
- Gain a strong understanding of the company’s mechanical and electrical engineering products, ensuring technical knowledge to effectively sell and advise clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand the specifications and capabilities of products, ensuring accurate communication to clients.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, and project management) to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects.
- Support clients through project stages and act as a liaison between the company and the customer.
Sales Support & Administration:
- Assist in preparing quotes, tenders, and proposals for clients.
- Follow up on project timelines, product delivery schedules, and invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
