Our client, a faith-based NGO Organization focused on helping underprivileged children gain a competitive advantage is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a visionary with a deep passion for education, social impact, and sustainable development. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in strategic leadership, organizational management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the long-term growth and impact of the organization.



The CEO will lead the development and execution of both short-term and long-term strategies, ensuring that the organization’s vision and goals are effectively realized. This role involves overseeing all programs, driving financial sustainability, and reporting the organization’s impact to supervising authorities.



Responsibilities



Strategic Leadership & Organizational Growth




  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve the vision, goals, and aspirations of the organization.

  • Oversee the coordination and administration of all ongoing and future educational interventions.

  • Ensure the organization remains impactful, efficient, and aligned with global best practices in education and development.



Sustainable Funding & Financial Oversight




  • Create and implement initiatives to secure a sustainable funding stream for the organization.

  • Prepare and oversee the annual budget, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.

  • Liaise with auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.



Public Relations, Marketing & Advocacy




  • Serve as the public face of the organization, advocating for educational access and social change.

  • Oversee marketing, public relations, and advertising efforts to enhance visibility and engagement.

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, government agencies, and community stakeholders.



Human Resource & Operational Management




  • Lead the organization’s human resource planning and management, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team.

  • Oversee project planning and management, ensuring timely and effective execution.

  • Drive day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency across all functions.



Qualifications




  • A strategic leader with a Bachelor’s degree (essential); an MBA or Master’s degree (preferred).

  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in project management and program design, particularly in education and social development.

  • At least 5 years of management experience, including direct supervision of teams across diverse roles.

  • A track record of leading operational teams and driving large-scale system transformation.

  • Prior experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, metric-driven organizations is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to engage with government representatives, donors, and community organizations at various levels.

  • Prior experience in leading a Nonprofit organization



Must have skills




  • Collaboration with other C-level executives, department heads and the board of directors

  • Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to gender and ethnicity.

  • Open to new ideas, methods and approachable.
