Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread and pastries


• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste


• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes


• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers. Monitor baking process and make adjustments as necessary


• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen


• Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and work area.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification with 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.


• Previous experience as a baker necessary


• Knowledge of baking techniques and principles


• Familiarity with different types of flours, sugars, and other baking ingredients


• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately


• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of baked goods


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
