Job Summary
- We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist who is passionate about HR systems, process automation, and employee experience.
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing HR operations, optimizing digital tools, and ensuring seamless HR service delivery.
- This role requires a blend of HR expertise and strong technical skills to implement digital solutions, automate workflows, and improve data-driven decision-making within the HR department.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Process Management:
- Oversee and manage HR processes and policies, ensuring compliance with company standards and labor laws.
- Automate and streamline HR workflows using HRMS, HR software, and digital tools.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes with digital documentation and efficient data management.
- Manage employee records, payroll data, and leave administration using HRIS systems.
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance employee engagement and HR service delivery.
Technology & HR Digitalization:
- Implement and optimize HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems) and ensure full utilization.
- Lead the digital transformation of HR policies, training materials, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and manage online training programs and digital learning platforms for employee development.
- Use data analytics and HR metrics to generate insights that support business decisions.
- Ensure seamless integration of HR tech solutions with payroll, attendance, and performance management systems.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
- Provide support in handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and enforce HR policies while maintaining transparency in communication.
Talent Acquisition & Performance Management:
- Support the recruitment team in leveraging AI-driven recruitment tools to streamline hiring processes.
- Oversee performance evaluation processes and ensure performance tracking through digital tools.
- Implement and manage employee rewards and recognition programs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR technology, including HRIS, HRMS, ATS, and digital learning platforms.
- Experience in automating HR processes and managing HR digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and HR metrics tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train employees on HR tech tools and improve user adoption.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR compliance.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- HR Tech Certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPM, or HRIS certifications) are a plus.
- Experience with HRMS platforms such as SeamlessHR, BambooHR e.t.c
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and HR analytics tools.
- Prior experience working in a restaurant, lounge, or nightclub industry is an advantage.
