Description 

To play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of all civil work related to the facility.

• Coordinate with design engineers, procurement teams, and contractors.


• Supervise all civil construction activities, including excavation, foundation work, structural construction, and finishing.


• Ensure adherence to relevant civil engineering standards and project specifications.


• Address cost variations and work on cost-saving strategies.


• Handle site issues, disputes, and technical challenges efficiently.


• Maintain accurate records of site activities, material usage, and workforce deployment.


• Provide regular progress updates to management and Project Manager.


• Ensure proper documentation of design changes and construction modifications.

Requirements

The Civil Construction Manager should have:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering and relevant Certification.


• Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering.


• 15 - 20 years’ experience


• Oil & Gas/Water Treatment Plants, Roads, Construction & Building works


• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.


• Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.


• Experience in Water Treament Plant (WTP) Civil Construction Preffered


• Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.


• Budgeting, cost estimation, risk assessment and problem-solving for site challenges.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD.


• Ability to manage contractors, site engineers, and labor teams.


• Strong decision-making skills under pressure.


• Conflict resolution and workforce motivation.
