Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Treasury Executive to manage cash flow, financial risk, and liquidity planning.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing the company's treasury functions, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- As a Treasury Executive at Omnipay, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of one of Nigeria’s most innovative and fast-growing fintech companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Monitor daily cash balances, forecast cash flow needs, and ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
- Banking & Payment Operations: Oversee bank transactions, reconciliations, and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and payment service providers.
- Treasury Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exposure, interest rate fluctuations, and fraud prevention.
- Investment & Fund Management: Manage investment portfolios, optimize returns on idle cash, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare treasury reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and support audits related to treasury functions.
- Process Optimization: Automate treasury operations and improve financial processes using fintech tools and ERP systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and risk teams to support overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking (preferably in fintech or financial services).
- Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, financial risk management, and treasury software.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage banking relationships and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital payments, financial services, or fintech companies.
- Knowledge of CBN regulations and compliance requirements in Nigeria.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACT, CFA, ICAN, ACCA) .
