Job Summary




  • The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and industry regulations.



Job Responsibilities




  • Develop, implement, and review HSE policies and risk controls to ensure compliance.

  • Investigate incidents, conduct training, and enforce safety regulations.

  • Manage emergency response plans and track safety performance.

  • Implement environmental management systems and control waste and pollution.

  • Develop safety training and monitor environmental impact.

  • Recruit, train, and manage plantation staff and employee relations.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and sustainability strategies.

  • Stay updated on regulations and maintain legal compliance.

  • Conduct HSE training, raise awareness, and promote a safety culture.

  • Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and report to authorities.

  • Analyze and report HSE performance to management and stakeholders.



Qualification and Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Agriculture Science, or related fields.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Agricultural Economics, related fields (preferred).

  • Professional certification in Health and Safety is an added advantage

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oil palm plantation management.

  • Experience in managing teams, including supervisory and leadership roles.
