Summary

• We are currently seeking a motivated and competent safety officer to join our team. 


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Create safety policies and procedures that comply with local, state and federal regulations.


• Conduct safety training programs for employees, including emergency response, first aid and fire drills etc.


• Educate staff on proper equipment usage, personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols.


• Ensure that safety standards are followed by the organization.


• Maintain safety records and documentation for regular compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health, Safety Environmental Science or any relevant field.


• Minimum of 12 years experience in safety management and the ability to work well under pressure.


• Must possess a certificate in HSE Supervision and Leadership, General HSE, Fire Fighting and first Aid.


• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment techniques, excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to details.
