Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HSE/Quality Control Officer to oversee health, safety, and food quality compliance across our multi-brand quick service restaurant (QSR) outlets. 

  • This role ensures that all operational activities align with health, safety, and quality regulations while maintaining excellent food safety standards. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety, HACCP principles, and workplace safety regulations in the hospitality/QSR sector.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies in compliance with local and international food safety standards.

  • Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO 22000, NAFDAC, SON, and other food safety guidelines across all locations.

  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety hazards.

  • Monitor food handling, preparation, and storage processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Train staff on best practices in food hygiene, safety procedures, and workplace hazard prevention.

  • Investigate incidents, food complaints, or non-compliance issues, providing reports and corrective action plans.

  • Work closely with store managers and kitchen staff to maintain product quality consistency.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance with government and regulatory bodies.

  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and ensure all staff are aware of safety protocols.

  • Maintain records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance reports for audits and management review.



Qualifications & Skills




  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the QSR, hospitality, or food production industry.

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, OSHA, and local food safety laws.

  • Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks.

  • Certification in HSE, Food Safety, or Quality Management is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication and training skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple outlets simultaneously.
