Job Summary




  • The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in preparing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.



Responsibilities




  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.

  • Greet customers, answer inquiries, and provide information on medications and health products.

  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

  • Manage inventory, restock shelves, and ensure medications are stored properly.

  • Handle cash registers and process payments.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry and record-keeping.

  • Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and company policies.



Education, Experience and Qualification




  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm).

  • Valid pharmacist license as per local regulatory authority is a plus

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail, pharmaceutical, health care or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.



Skills and Competencies:




  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory management.
