Job Summary




  • Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join their team. 

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. 

  • The pharmacist will also offer expert advice on the safe use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, ensuring patient safety and optimal health outcomes.



Responsibiltiies




  • Dispense Medications: Accurately prepare and distribute prescription and non-prescription medications to patients.

  • Patient Counseling: Provide clear instructions on medication usage, possible side effects, and interactions with other drugs or food.

  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. 

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage procurement, and prevent medication shortages or excesses.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on medicines to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

  • Customer Service: Address patient inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide guidance on health and wellness.

  • Health and Safety: Ensure a clean and safe pharmacy environment, following all health and safety protocols.



Education, Experience and Qualification




  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm).

  • Valid pharmacist license as per local regulatory authority is a plus

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail, pharmaceutical or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.



Skills And Competencies:




  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and their interactions.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and software.
