Job Brief

• We are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Fibre Engineer to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up fibre optic telecommunication and data networks


• ‎Lay underground and underfloor fibre optic cabling


• Test systems and find and fix any faults


• Design, build and test fibre optic equipment


• Communicating with clients or contractors about project status


• Working with engineers to develop designs for new projects, and providing documentation for completed projects


• ‎Liaise with customers in person, on the phone or online


• ‎Maintain detailed records of each job


• ‎Working in clients’ homes or businesses


• ‎Working outdoors in all weathers.


• ‎Conducting feasibility studies for new projects and investigating potential problems in existing processesorequipment's

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field


• Minimum of 3-4 years experience


• Strong understanding of fiber optic technologies and transmission systems


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


• Ability to work independently and with team


• Computer use competency


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
