Responsibilities

• Responsible for aoperating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior and contacting the authorities when necessary.


• Recording all events, incidents and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate format.


• To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations of the company.


• To ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Line Manager/Supervisor or Management.


• Maintaining an efficient and courteous radio and telephone communication with security personnels and dealing efficiently with all enquiries.


• Liaising with the security agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system and to include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of OND in Social Science


• Must be physically and medically fit


• Must be organized, have a keen eye for detail, trustworthy, and able to manage others effectively


• Relevant security certifications will be an added advantage


• Must possess excellent communication, persuasion, and a quick analytical mind


• Fluency in English in both written and spoken and the capability to follow safety and security rules and procedures without compromises at all times is essential.
