• Gathers information and writes journalistically sound news content 


• Develop story ideas based on leads


• Convert stories to be posted on company website, and create social media posts to drive traffic to the website


• Arrange and conduct interviews when needed to collect witness statements, get information from experts or individuals involved or work on a lead for a proposed story


• Stay up-to-date with the latest current events by studying papers, attending events etc.


• Writing and delivering news stories with the reader’s perspective in mind

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Reporter


• Ability to gather, write and edit new


• Strong reporting, writing, organizational and story structure skills.


• B.Sc. in journalism or mass communications or ralted fields
